 Today In a close door interview  one on one with the Lyrical Chef himself (L.C GOMBA) we found out lots more about him and how it all began, see details below 

1.Can you please tell us your real name -: Raphael Amasi-Gomba 

2.Parents / your background -: I hail from Aleto Eleme local government area in Rivers State,Port-Harcourt. I was born and raised by my parents; Cheif,Engr Solomon Amasi-Gomba (father) and Envg Charity Amasi-GOMBA (mother) in a GOD fearing Anglican home at NO 1 Echaapere community,Aleto Eleme local government area.

3.How you came about your stage name?? -: My stage name L.C GOMBA which means Lyrical Chef was derived from my adventure in secondary school as a songwriter. I wrote and sold songs to upcoming artist both in my secondary school (Cayley College) and around my neighborhood where I lived in Charity road,abule egba in Lagos State. My professional and prolific songwriting earned me the name “L.C” (Lyrical Chef). Meanwhile GOMBA is my ancestral name… yahknow,reminding me of where I come from as we tread on my musical journey.

4.your journey musically ??-: 4. I started singing at the age of seven in the children’s choir,joined the adult chior at the age of twelve and then moved to Lagos State to further my education in secondary school. I recorded my first song at the age of 16 and ever since my first studio recording I’ve worked with producers like Gzone,Jagabiana,Morrison,Emino,Maestro D etc I’ve also shared the same stage with Tekno,Davido,Patoranking,LAX , Maleekberry and other A list artists. I’ve been in music all my life but I’ve been doing music professionally for five years.

 5.what you intend to change the music industry?? -: 5. I intend to grow with the music industry into a structure where good music and good music alone is appreciated,valued and respected by using conscious music,dope and Ital lyric and vibe to inspire the world. 

6. Why you’re different from others ??-: I am different because I’m real from within my intent to my natural personality. I work hard with the fear of JAHOVA, the KING of KINGS and LORD of LORDS who prospers my ways as HE has written it in our destiny.

7. What is special about your music & unique about yourself and style of music??-: 7. My style is unique because of the spirit I carry as a Nazirite; I grew up listening to reggae music in my hometown,we are all reggae dancehall lovers in the south south parts of Nigeria. Reggae music sharpened and influenced my music as a professional artist,that’s why it’s a different sensation when Lyrical climb pon stage lol seen.

8. Things you like & dislike ?? -: I love dopeness, positive vibes,hardwork,real love and happiness. I dislike mediocrity,laziness and fake people.

9. Your from a family of ?? -: I’m from a polygamous family of six, two boys and three girls from my Mum and step brother.

10.what are you expecting to do which could be extra ordinary or new about what you’re bringing to music industry?? :- I’m expecting to do my best in every facets of my art which includes pure inspiration,conscious music,great lyricism and happiness from the vibes of my vocals.
