The central bank of Nigeria CBN, as decided to support the ongoing Dangote private business owned Refinery with the sum of 75billion Naira to fast track the completion of the project.
The man in charge of the CBN ,Godwin Emefiele is the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, said the move is aimed at reducing the nation’s wage bill on petrol import and to boost the nation’s Nigerian economy.
The ongoing refinery is three times the size of the Victoria island with a production capacity of about 630,000 barrels per day. It’s one of the biggest in the world.
But many Nigerians are asking a thousand and one question why should the CBN support or fund a private owned business which is not owned by government. many says the richest black man in the world did not asked for the support of the government so why ?
