New Patrotic Party Has Declared themselves Victors in the 2016 Ghanaian Elections

The campaign team of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), a major opposition party,  led by Peter Mac Manu, has declared itself victors in the 2016 elections around 1a.m, urging president John Mahama to concede defeat. At a hurriedly addressed press conference, at the NPP headquarters, the national campaign chairman, Peter Mac Manu said after tabulating 80 percent of polling station results, the NPP was ahead with 4.6 million votes (54.91 percent) and President Mahama the 43.38 percent (3.6 million).
