Should Africa celebrate Halloween?

Halloween an event celebrated by the United States of America and some Western Nations is celebrated on the 31st October every year. Halloween is huge holiday in the western world. It’s all about scary decorations where the pumpkin fruits are always used designed and carved into various scary shapes, goblins, vampires, wearing of costumes and begging for candy.
For children, they go door to door in the evenings to ask for sweets, toffees, candies, which is popularly called ‘trick or treating’ in their chosen costumes which is mostly scary. For adults it’s all about dressings up too, partying, drinking, dancing etc.
Straddling the line between fall and winter, rich and poor, life and death, Halloween is a time of celebration and superstition. It is thought to have originated with the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain, when people would light bonfires and wear costumes to ward off roaming ghosts.
Should this festival be adopted in Africa, for that matter Ghana?
